Who We Are

  • Through the art of massage, the husband and wife duo (John and Jessica) found the passion to help the community manage their conditions and help aide in the recovery of their injuries.

    The clinic was built with the understanding that life is continuously filled with some form of stress. It is an aspect of life that we cannot merely remove or destroy but manage and alleviate the weight.

    Here at Solace, we strive to create an environment where both the clients and therapists can find “solace” through the treatments, the environment and through the connections they make here at Solace Manual Therapy.

  • Solace: To find comfort or consolation in time of sadness or distress.

    • Sun: The sun represents the light that shines through the darkness

    • Moon: The moon represents the darkness that every individual holds within.

    Together the sun and the moon represents the balance of light and dark- the balance of the mind, body and soul.

  • You can find us in the Polo Park Area of Winnipeg inside Madison Square.

    We are located in Unit 305 - 1630 Ness Ave Winnipeg MB, R3J 3X1.

    The main entrance doors are in between the Dental clinic and Pet Valu.

    There is available parking as well as an elevator inside the building.

Jessica graduated from Evolve College of Massage Therapy in 2024 and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology (Athletic Therapy) in 2020 at the University of Winnipeg. After completing the Athletic Therapy Program she was drawn towards manual therapy and decided to solely focus on Massage. She is certified in both Myofascial Cupping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilizations and offers prenatal massages.

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

John graduated from Evolve College of Massage Therapy in 2021. Before pursing a career as a Registered Massage Therapist, he was a Rehabilitation Assistant working with stroke patients as part of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) community stroke care service. He is certified in Myofascial Cupping and offers prenatal massages.

Girene graduated from Evolve College of Massage Therapy in 2024 and has certified in both Myofascial Cupping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilizations.

MASSAGE THERAPY STUDENT

Altrisha is a massage therapy student who is currently doing her practicum at Solace. She is offering 60-minute relaxation massages to help gain more experience in Massage Therapy.

All sessions with Altrisha are not eligible for reimbursement and cannot be claimed through insurances.
